Healthy protein cookies are a great way to satisfy your sweet tooth while also getting a boost of protein. Here’s how to make them:

  • 2 spoons fulls of peanut butter (I used low-sodium Peanut butter) you can also use almond butter
  • Stir bowl into all ingredients is mixed well
  • Place in oven or air fryer at 350 Degrees for 12 minutes, Enjoy!

Why you should eat homemade Healthy Protein Cookies instead of cookies at the store:

1. Nutritional Value: Homemade healthy protein cookies are typically made with high-quality ingredients like whole grains, nuts, and protein powder. These ingredients provide essential nutrients such as fiber, vitamins, and minerals, which are often lacking in store-bought sugar cookies.

2. Control over Ingredients: When you make your own protein cookies at home, you have complete control over the ingredients used. You can choose to use natural sweeteners like honey or maple syrup instead of refined sugars, and opt for healthier fats like coconut oil or almond butter. This allows you to customize the cookies to your dietary needs and preferences.

3. Lower Sugar Content: Store-bought sugar cookies are notorious for their high sugar content, which can lead to energy crashes and weight gain. Homemade protein cookies, on the other hand, can be sweetened with healthier alternatives like stevia or mashed bananas, reducing the overall sugar content while still satisfying your sweet tooth.

4. Higher Protein Content: Protein is an essential macronutrient that helps build and repair tissues, supports muscle growth, and keeps you feeling full and satisfied. Homemade protein cookies are specifically designed to be higher in protein, often incorporating ingredients like protein powder, Greek yogurt, or nut butters. This makes them a great option for those looking to increase their protein intake.

5. Taste and Texture: While store-bought sugar cookies may be delicious, homemade protein cookies can be just as tasty, if not more so. With the right recipe, you can achieve a soft and chewy texture, rich flavors, and even add mix-ins like dark chocolate chips or dried fruits. Plus, you can experiment with different flavors and variations to find your favorite combination.

How I lost weight with my foods

During the initial month and a half of my fitness journey, I focused solely on changing my nutrition. It was incredible to see the results – I lost over 40 pounds just by making those adjustments. After that, I gradually incorporated home workouts into my routine before eventually joining a gym. Even to this day, I continue to do home workouts three times a week, especially when I’m targeting belly fat around my waist.

Nutrition plays a crucial role in weight loss. Many people believe that they have to eat less and sacrifice taste, but that’s not true at all. You can enjoy delicious food while still shedding pounds. That’s why I love creating recipes like my homemade healthy cookies. They are packed with nutritious ingredients, allowing you to indulge without consuming excessive calories like you would with store-bought Oreo or chocolate chip cookies.
